PEDDER PASSER RATING (P.P.R.)

Executable and data-files for using the P.P.R.

I have written a program that actually CALCULATES a Passer's P.P.R. for you. The self-extracting zip-file available below contains this program, and a large amount of data, ready for you to use.
This has been updated again (31/10/02) to include a new version of the program,as well as updated files for all-time Passers and a selection of active Quarter-backs (essentially Quarter-backs who are active in 2002 and had at least one qualifying season prior to 2002).

This program is CAREWARE. This means that to "pay" for this program, you just have to be KIND to someone and/or do something NICE for someone. :-)

After you download the D.O.S. Pedder Passer Rating install program (version 3) into your root directory (or which-ever directory you want this new PedderPR sub-directory to be created in),type in "pprinst3 -d". It is important that you DO NOT leave out the "-d" - it creates the neccessary SUB-directories. Then read the README.TXT file. The program and data-files amounts to almost 150,000 bytes.

I am sorry that I only have a DOS version available. Any help in modifying it into a Mac/Unix version would be appreciated.

There will be updates available here as more information comes to hand. Remember to check back here from time to time.

If you use the P.P.R. system to rate a non-N.F.L. player/competition,and you make the results available via the Web,then be sure to let me know, and I can include a LINK here to it. :-)
